Almond Shape Extensions: One-Day Intensive

Almond extensions require precise architecture: a stable apex, a smooth C-curve and a neat
free edge. In this training I build the full almond from forms starting with correct prep and
form placement, then controlled product application for minimal filing and a photo-clean
finish. The goal is fast, safe, elegant work with long-wear results.

What you’ll learn
● Tools and materials overview (forms, bases, builder gels, files, e-file bits)
● Workstation setup and safety
● Natural nail prep for extensions: hygiene, dehydration, primer/bonder
● Form selection and correct placement for different nail types
● Almond geometry: apex position, lower arches, sidewalls, C-curve
● Product placement in layers to reduce filing
● Shaping logic
● Clean application around the cuticle without flooding
● Common mistakes (lifting, breaks, asymmetry) and how to avoid them
● Quick photo workflow so your work looks clean and professional

What to bring
● Your e-file with diamond and carbide bits, nippers, scissors, tweezers, gel brushes
(and a fine liner),
● Nail forms (if you don’t have them, you can purchase during training)
● A model for practice (if you struggle to find one a few days before, contact me and I
will help)
● An apron or workwear suitable for training
● All other materials are provided by me

● 09:00–09:30 Registration & setup
● 09:30–10:00 Theory
● 10:00–16:00 Practice on model (13:00–13:30 break)

● 16:00–17:00 Photography, review, certificates

The day may run longer depending on the group’s pace.

Policies
● Deposit: £100 (deducted from the total on the training day)
● Refunds: the deposit is non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be moved to
another date. The deposit is refundable only if the course is cancelled by the
organiser.
● The full course fee must be paid on the training day before we begin; otherwise you
cannot start.
● Punctuality and models: please be on time. One model may be shared by two
students, with one student working on one hand. I will confirm model logistics before
the course.
